In-Home Treatment Support
Has your vet prescribed regular injections, medicated bathing, or other treatments that are difficult to manage at home? I can visit your home to assist with prescribed treatments and other practical aspects of your pet’s care.
Complex Diagnosis Support
Has your pet recently been diagnosed with a complex condition and you are finding the information, treatment plan, or medications overwhelming? I can help you work through the information provided by your vet, organise questions or concerns, and feel more confident managing your pet’s care at home.
Palliative & End-of-Life Decision Support
Are you facing difficult decisions about your pet’s treatment, comfort, or quality of life? I can help you talk through the options, clarify priorities, and feel more informed and supported in the decisions you make for your pet.
Caregiver Support Visits
Are you caring for a pet on your own and feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or isolated? I can provide practical and emotional support, answer questions, and help you feel more confident in the care you are providing at home.

My unique perspective
Unlike medical consultations or purely emotional support, Paws & Perspective sits in the space between. As a veterinarian by training, I offer mobile one-on-one support for pet owners in Auckland. I set up this service because, during work as a vet, my colleagues and I often feel frustrated and saddened that we cannot provide the support, time and comfort many clients truly need — veterinary appointments are back-to-back, and there simply isn’t space to slow down. Paws & Perspective fills that gap.
This service is not for emergencies, second medical opinions, veterinary consultations or prescribing of medications; it is for practical support, emotional support and help with understanding your pet's conditions.
